Seymour AV's Center Stage XD is the best performing acoustically transparent screen available at any price. Used in leading film studios for mastering, the Center Stage XD allows you to bring a cinematic experience to your home with reference quality picture and audio. The cinemas don't have speakers outside the screen area, but a speaker company would never make a grill out of perforated vinyl. How to get the best of both worlds? The woven Center Stage XD screen enables you to have a larger image and get that large cinema experience at home. By using three identical front channels, properly located behind the image and vertically oriented at the same level, you can also completely hide them and keep them away from the floor and side walls. There is no longer a need to compromise their size, allowing for a truly reference experience as the mastering studio intended. With 1739 holes per square inch, the XD can handle 4K video resolutions, cannot moiré, does not need EQ, and is the brightest woven AT screen available. Designed for seating 8ft or further and for hanging right over the speakers without having to build in extra clearance, the XD also is opaque enough to light that it rarely needs an optional secondary black backing layer. With a true 6500K D65 color temperature, the XD is a pure white and like all white screens must be used in a room with light control and preferably darker colors. The Economy frame features a 2.6" wide satin black powder coated frame with a 5/8" inside strip of 99.6% light absorbing velvet to absorb the overscan. Featuring grommets around the screen border, you simply attach the screen to the frame using the provided stretchy bands onto pre-installed frame posts, making a trampoline that will always bounce back. The frame is split on the top and bottom and joined with 2.4 pounds of laser cut plated steel. Built in Iowa, Seymour AV screens are sold factory direct, worldwide and TO China.
